Mould risk cannot be reliably inferred from one isolated humidity reading. Time, temperature, surfaces and ventilation are essential.
Dew point
Dew point is the temperature at which air becomes saturated if its moisture content remains unchanged.
Surface temperature
Condensation can occur when a surface becomes colder than the local dew point. Prolonged high surface humidity can also create risk without visible condensation.
Coherent monitoring
Loggers in representative positions, an outdoor reference, use information and possibly surface temperature provide a much stronger picture than a single spot reading.
DNS Meteo translates these principles into site-specific analysis and actionable measures.
