An observing site is assessed by parameter because wind, temperature, precipitation and radiation each require different exposure conditions.
Why by parameter?
A site may be excellent for precipitation yet unsuitable for representative wind because of obstacles. A single overall score can hide such differences.
What is assessed?
Observing height, surface, obstacle distances, heat sources, shading, slope and clear airflow, among other factors.
How does DNS Meteo use it?
As a technical reference for inspections and site surveys, always linked to the actual purpose. An assessment is not automatically a certificate.
DNS Meteo translates these principles into site-specific analysis and actionable measures.
